• 30 owner-occupied and 12 subsidized student apartments
  • Energy-saving construction as a KfW 55 efficiency house

Wiesbaden, March 3, 2023 - The d.i.i. Group, a leading specialist for residential real estate in Germany, is developing a six-story new building project with approximately 2,000 square meters of living space in the Hamburg district of Stellingen. At the same time as the building permit was issued in February, sales for the total of 30 condominiums also began. Sales are carried out via d.i.i. 's own Germany-wide and locally based broker network.

The “das Nest” project is located on the corner of Kieler Straße and Pelikstieg in the north of Hamburg. A total of 42 residential units and a commercial space of almost 30 square meters will be built on the approximately 1,026 square meter site by 2025. The condominiums vary in size – one to three rooms with 30 to 80 square meters. In addition, each residential unit has a spacious outdoor area with a (roof) terrace, balcony or glazed loggia. There are also 12 subsidized and furnished student apartments.

“The building permit for 'The Nest' is good news for everyone involved - from the tenants and owner-occupiers to our investors. Urgently needed additional living space is being created for Hamburg. With the high energy efficiency standards and the subsidized student apartments, we consciously place emphasis on a sustainable balance between ecological and social aspects as well as the desire of many people to own their own home,” says Arne Schreier, Head of Project Development at d.i.i. Deutsche Invest Immobilien AG.

The property is centrally located in Hamburg-Stellingen. There are various public transport stations within walking distance as well as a variety of shopping and leisure options. Hamburg's main train station and the airport can also be reached within a very short time by car. The micro-location will be further enhanced by the “Neue Mitte Stellingen” district development by 2025. In total, around 750 apartments, a weekly market, retail and green spaces will be built in the new district center between Sportplatzring and Basselweg on an area of around 74,500 square meters.
