It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to reach Wilhelmstrasse on foot from the “Viktoria Quarter”. Wilhelmstraße, also known as “the Rue”, is Wiesbaden's most important boulevard and best-known promenade. There are countless cafés, restaurants and bars around Wilhelmstrasse, all of which will take quite some time to try out. Shopping lovers also won't miss out in the district in the city center.
Also on Wilhelmstrasse is the Hessian State Theater, where theater, opera and ballet of national and international standing are performed. The famous Wiesbaden Casino is also very close by. There are also numerous cinemas in this district, ranging from blockbuster cinemas to arthouse film houses.
If you would like something a little smaller, you will find the Tutti Frutti restaurant right next to the “Viktoria Quarter”, which has developed into a real neighborhood meeting point. In addition to pleasant company, there is Sicilian pizza and a large selection of hummus and espresso.
