Wiesbaden, December 18, 2023 – The d.i.i. Deutsche Invest Immobilien Group, one of the leading specialists for residential real estate, is further expanding its own range of services along the value chain. The vertically integrated residential real estate specialist bundles all facility management services under the subsidiary d.i.i. Facility Services GmbH. Melanie Thiesen is responsible for managing the company.

d.i.i. Facility Services already manages a residential stock of more than 4,000 units nationwide, which is scheduled to grow to around 15,000 units by the end of 2025. At the same time, the team is to be expanded from the current 20 employees to up to 50 over the course of 2024. The management is aimed not only at the d.i.i. Group's own holdings, but also at third-party mandates from other portfolio holders. As a full-service provider, the company covers the entire spectrum of facility services in building management and maintenance, from the technical area and security to garden and landscape maintenance and building cleaning.

Melanie Thiesen looks back on 22 years of professional experience, including over ten years in building management and technology. She has been a member of the d.i.i. group since March 2022. Until d.i.i. Facility Services GmbH was spun off as an independent subsidiary, she was responsible for facility management within d.i.i. Property Management (formerly Riverhome). She previously held leading positions at PACON Real Estate, Dussmann Service, Klüh Cleaning and SPIE, among others. The state-certified business economist and specialist in facility management also has a master's degree in facility management from the Technical University of Central Hesse.

Close to the property thanks to a regional network
d.i.i. Facility Services is already represented at seven locations throughout Germany. Over the next few years, we want to gradually expand our network of locations so that we can also manage large residential property portfolios nationwide. It is important to us to expand sustainably and in a targeted manner so that we can always live up to our core claim of always being close to the respective property and the tenant,” says Melanie Thiesen, Managing Director of d.i.i.
